Fellowship Eligibility Requirements

Be between the ages of 18–30

Demonstrate an expressed interest in civic leadership, community engagement, or public service

Commit to attending all required in-person modules and virtual learning sessions

Be willing to complete reflections and surveys following each module

Experience: 18-30
Education: The fellowship includes: 1 Emersion Day 8 total in-person modules 2 Post-Module Check-In Sessions Reflections & Participation Fellows will be assigned reflections and surveys following each module. Active participation in discussions, activities, and evaluations is required. Completion of all modules and reflections is required to receive a Fellowship Certificate of Completion. Fellowship Coverage & Support The Muslim Civic Coalition will provide the following support for accepted fellows: Round-trip travel reimbursement for out-of-state fellows (up to $300 per trip) Lodging in Chicago for fellows who require accommodation Light refreshments and lunch provided during in-person modules Module Topics Our American Story; Past, Present, and Future Understanding our Foundation; the African American Experience Communications and Crisis Management Run and Win Student Gov, Municipal, State Elected Office Community Organizing For Resilient but Vulnerable Communities Conversations with Community Leaders. Financial Literacy From Income to Wealth Bringing it All Together - Civic Leaders Workshop State of the Coalition Brunch / Fellowship Recognition Ready to grow in your leadership and make a deeper impact in your community?
