Job Summary:
The Operational Director will oversee the daily operations and provide strategic guidance to drive institutional growth. This role requires a profound commitment to Islamic principles paired with exceptional organizational and analytical skills. The Director will ensure operational efficiency across all departments while serving as a key advisor on strategic initiatives to enhance the Institute’s overall impact.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Strategic Planning & Advisory: Execute mission-aligned roadmaps while advising leadership on program development, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
Operational Management: Direct daily operations and departmental synergy through streamlined systems, policy adherence, and optimized workflows.
Financial & Growth Oversight: Manage the annual budget and support the finance team as needed
Staff Leadership & Culture: Mentor a high-performance team by overseeing the full talent cycle and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Quality & Compliance: Implement and monitor quality assurance metrics to evaluate program impact and ensure academic excellence.
Local Growth & Development:
Expansion & Partnerships: Proactively build strategic partnerships with Irvine-based community leaders and organizations to expand the Institute’s local footprint and brand presence.
Local Fundraising: Lead targeted fundraising efforts within the Irvine community to secure financial support from local donors, corporations, foundations, and cultivate relationships with major donors.
