Job Overview
The Islamic Seminary of America (TISA) seeks a strategic and results-driven Development Officer to coordinate and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy. The Development Officer will work with TISA leadership and the Development team to secure $1.3 million annually to support TISA’s operational budget and institutional growth. The ideal candidate has experience with the fundraising process, donor stewardship, philanthropy, and managing community and fundraising events.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategy and execution to raise $1.3M annually through major gifts, campaigns, events, and digital fundraising.
- Coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, budgets, and performance.
- Identify and cultivate major donors and partners, and facilitate major gift asks for leadership.
- Strengthen donor relationships through outreach, impact reporting, recognition, and stewardship.
- Coordinate with Development and Marketing on fundraising communications, reporting, and donor engagement.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
