CAIR Action, a 501(c)4 affiliate of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), is dedicated to enhancing the civic engagement, political participation, and impact of the American Muslim community in local, state, and federal elections.
Our vision is a future in which Muslims across the United States of America yield significant political power to advance just policies at home and abroad.
Our mission is to engage, educate, and mobilize Muslim voters, train emerging leaders, and champion policy priorities that enhance the well-being and representation of Muslim communities.
Our Goals and Priorities
Our Goal is to empower the American Muslim Community to: Advocate for the rights and interests of American Muslims in local, state, and federal government.
- Enhance political participation and engagement within the American Muslim community.
- Ensure that we elect candidates that uphold the rights of all Americans, including Muslims, in various sectors of society.
- Promote candidates that advance social justice, equity, and inclusivity, both domestically and in foreign affairs.
- Mobilize the nation's 2 million+ Muslim voters to support candidates who champion our community and its issues
