Youth Circles

At MAS Bay Area, youth are our top priority—the future ambassadors of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). From the very beginning, we have committed ourselves to providing engaging youth development activities and programs.Our Youth Circles program fosters strong connections among teens and young adults, promoting brotherhood and sisterhood. Each circle is guided by a dedicated adult mentor who serves as a role model, creating a safe space for youth to share their thoughts, questions, and concerns. Youth Circles focus on providing an open environment for youth to explore their faith and deepen their connection to Allah. A key aspect of our program is volunteerism, which empowers young people to become future leaders and active contributors to their communities and society.

Youth Summer Camp

MAS’s Youth Camp is an enriching summer experience designed for boys and girls aged 12-18. This camp offers a unique blend of spiritual growth, community bonding, and outdoor adventure. Participants will engage in interactive workshops on Islamic teachings, leadership skills, and personal development, all while enjoying fun activities like hiking, team sports, and arts and crafts. Our dedicated mentors will guide discussions on faith and identity, fostering a supportive environment for self-discovery and connection. Afghan Youth Mentoring (AYM) Program

MAS Bay Area launched the Afghan Youth Mentoring (AYM) Program in March, 2025, a vital initiative supporting Afghan refugee youth (ages 15-24) as they navigate new opportunities and challenges in our community. Through mentorship, education, and recreational activities, we provide the tools and encouragement these young individuals need to thrive.Program ProgressAlhamdulilah, on April 6, 2025, the Afghan Youth Mentoring (AYM) team had the blessing of meeting with over 20 Afghan refugee youth at Masjid Al Muhajireen. It was a powerful and moving gathering — and thanks to your generous support, we were able to sign up 21 new youth to join the AYM program!These youth, all of whom arrived in the U.S. after 2021, are still navigating the challenges of resettling in a new country. Many of them come from families with limited resources, and all are seeking connection, guidance, and hope.Our approach is rooted in relationship building, identity development, and active youth engagement.
